“I’d put off the PSI for months — the textbook felt endless. The diagnostic showed me I only really needed License Law and Agency. Passed first try, two weeks later.”

Questions, answered

The things people ask first.

Do I need to finish the 75-hour course first?
Yes — New Jersey requires the 75-hour pre-license course before you can sit for the PSI exam. LicensePass is built for the step after that: turning what you’ve learned into a confident pass. Haven’t finished the course? Our NJ exam guide points you to approved providers.
How long until I’m ready to test?
Most students are exam-ready in about two weeks at roughly 15 minutes a day. The diagnostic sets your starting point, and the plan adapts as your readiness score climbs — so it’s built around your pace and your schedule, not a fixed course length.
Is the content actually NJ-specific?
It is. Questions mirror the PSI format and split the way the real exam does — the national portion plus New Jersey’s state-specific topics like NJ License Law and Agency & Disclosure. You drill the same shapes of questions you’ll see on test day.
What if I’ve already failed once?
You’re exactly who this works best for. The diagnostic finds the specific topics that tripped you up, and the plan focuses there instead of making you re-study everything. Plenty of our students come to us after a first attempt and pass the next time.
How much does it cost?
The diagnostic is free — no signup, no card. Paid plans start at a one-time $49, and the Career Launch plan includes a Pass Guarantee. See the pricing page for the details.
Is LicensePass affiliated with PSI or the NJ Real Estate Commission?
No. LicensePass is independent exam prep — we don’t administer the exam or issue licenses. We just get you ready for the test PSI gives and the license the NJ Real Estate Commission grants.
